### I. Preparation <a href="#t9s99tne99z0" id="t9s99tne99z0"></a>

1. Update your Keystone device to [Firmware version M-9.4 (Multi-Coin)](https://keyst.one/firmware?locale=en) or later. Refer to the “[How to upgrade your firmware](https://support.keyst.one/getting-started/firmware-upgrading)” tutorial if you require assistance in updating your firmware.
2. Download and install ArConnect Beta on Web Store (V-1.0.0 or newer).

### II. Connecting your Keystone Hardware Wallet with ArConnect <a href="#og35mktwq7r" id="og35mktwq7r"></a>

### 1. Installing ArConnect <a href="#km3a5plamx" id="km3a5plamx"></a>

1\)  Open your web browser and navigate to the Web store.

2\)  Download and install the ArConnect Beta extension in your browser

### 2. Syncing Keystone to ArConnect <a href="#tou0on9m20g1" id="tou0on9m20g1"></a>

1\) Open the ArConnect Beta extension in your browser and select \[I have a wallet].

2\) Set a password for your ArConnect and proceed to the next step.

3\) On the next screen, choose \[Connect Keystone].

4\) On Keystone, go to \[Software Wallet] > Tap \[ArConnect] > Tap \[…] and tap \[Connect Software Wallet]. A QR code will then be displayed.

Please note that if your firmware version is **M-9.10** or newer, the **connection process on the Keystone** hardware wallet has been improved.&#x20;

To connect your software wallet, simply tap on \[Connect Software Wallet] and then select \[ArConnect]. The QR code will be displayed automatically.&#x20;

Keystone requires your authorization to generate the necessary address as Arweave uses the RSA algorithm, which differs from other blockchains, like Bitcoin/Ethereum(ECDSA).

5 )Use ArConnect to scan the QR code shown on your Keystone device.

Congratulations! Your Keystone hardware wallet is now successfully connected to ArConnect!
