Securely manage your crypto assets and seamlessly interact with the Arweave blockchain by integrating a Keystone hardware wallet with the ArConnect software wallet.

I. Preparation

  1. Update your Keystone device to Firmware version M-9.4 (Multi-Coin) or later. Refer to the “How to upgrade your firmware” tutorial if you require assistance in updating your firmware.

  2. Download and install ArConnect Beta on Web Store (V-1.0.0 or newer).

II. Connecting your Keystone Hardware Wallet with ArConnect

1. Installing ArConnect

1) Open your web browser and navigate to the Web store.

2) Download and install the ArConnect Beta extension in your browser

2. Syncing Keystone to ArConnect

1) Open the ArConnect Beta extension in your browser and select [I have a wallet].

2) Set a password for your ArConnect and proceed to the next step.

3) On the next screen, choose [Connect Keystone].

4) On Keystone, go to [Software Wallet] > Tap [ArConnect] > Tap […] and tap [Connect Software Wallet]. A QR code will then be displayed.

Please note that if your firmware version is M-9.10 or newer, the connection process on the Keystone hardware wallet has been improved.

To connect your software wallet, simply tap on [Connect Software Wallet] and then select [ArConnect]. The QR code will be displayed automatically.

For more information about the updated UI design, please visit Keystone's Revamped UI.

Keystone requires your authorization to generate the necessary address as Arweave uses the RSA algorithm, which differs from other blockchains, like Bitcoin/Ethereum(ECDSA).

5 )Use ArConnect to scan the QR code shown on your Keystone device.

Congratulations! Your Keystone hardware wallet is now successfully connected to ArConnect!
